Our businesses are owned and operated by Ron Dufina and Mary McCourt Dufina, long time Mackinac Island residents. Ron and Mary started their businesses in 1972 with the original Village Inn gift shops which included the Loon Feather and Balsam Shop.

They now own and operate two Village Inn restaurants located on Mackinac Island and in downtown St. Ignace. They also run gift shops at Surrey Hills. Pontiac Lodge located above the Loonfeather and Balsam Shops provides accommodations for island visitors.
